The actual name of the monastery is Jangchub Palri. The monastery was established by the first Padtsheling Tulku Drupthop Namgyal Lhendub in the eighteenth century, 1769. While reciting a Zangchoed Molem a hundred thousand times in front of the statue of Lhasa Jowo (Buddha statue in Lhasa, Tibet- China), during that time Lhasa Jowo prophesized to him to establish his religious seat Padtsheling Gonpa. Histroy
The Padtselling monastery was built in the year 1769 according to the verbal instruction/the prophesies of Lhasa Jowo, the secret statue of Buddha in Lhasa Potola- Tibet, China. The origin of the Padtselling Tulku’s Linage can be rooted back to the prophesy of Guru Rinpoche.
Over 300 years, the Padtselling Monastery taught and empowered its numerous followers, friends and well wishers with its secret teachings but due to change in time and as the present incarnation is born form very poor family; the monastery is facing difficulties to sustain itself for the wellbeing of others.
Though Rinpoche have many novel plans for his monastery and `to spread one of the secret teaching his linage has been holding over 300 years, Rinpoche is facing difficulties in bringing his dreams to reality as every little penny Rinpoche receives by performing rituals or as contribution from his well wishers are just enough to provide his over 100 monks with food, cloth and religious texts.
In this regard for the well being of all living being, to preserve and to pass on the secret teachings prevailing in Padtselling Monastery to the next generation and to its well wishers, the Padtselling Monastery would like to request well wishers and friends to render their support and donation for construction of very basic facilities to improve health and hygienic of monks and to ease the monks to practice the teachings, such as Kitchen and Dinning, Monk’s Toilet and Bathroom, Guest Toilet and small Guest Rest room, Piping and networking of proper Dinking and Washing Water Supply, Fencing around Padtselling Monastery, Monk’s Hostel, Electric Wiring and Black topping of Road to Padtselling Monastery. Your every kind support and contribution will be highly appreciated.
